Digital Scrapbooking, or, how I'm saving so much time and money and still staying classy!

You have to see this. Its Wesley's First 6-months digital scrapbook. I'm actually reviewing the software/ printer for MWS and waiting for the hardcopy to arrive. I can't wait!

In a nutshell, you'll see the photo album as I created it, with my comments, etc. They provided a number of templates, backgrounds, graphics, etc. I learned a little about digital scrapping in Photoshop, but, honestly, it was really easy. And it makes organizing pictures so simple. I'm planning to scrap a whole bunch of albums now that I know about Picaboo!

Hmmm... the blog is looking pretty bland. I desperately need to add some spice to the page... and also upload some recent pics from the dig. But, in the meantime, here's a pic of the cuties (yes, I'm totally biased!) from January.

Milestone Update

Wesley sat up on his own tonight! While getting ready for bed in Carson's room, Wes was an acrobat--rolling around: front back front back front back... UP! Suddenly, he was sitting upright smiling at me.

Wesley? Wes? Where are you? WES??!!

He did it. Okay, maybe I did it. I lost Wesley.

I knew he'd been rolling for a little while lately, but I hadn't seen him really move. And maybe I still haven't. Yesterday afternoon, I turned my back on him for about 5 minutes. I worked at the computer and listened as Wes happily babbled into his stacking cups (his favorite toy of the moment.)

He chatted for about 2 minutes or so, then I realized that it had gotten really quiet. Carson was in his room playing, so I knew he wasn't to blame for the quiet. Curiously, I turned around, "what is my baby doing?" And I looked 2 feet away... to find my baby wasn't there. I looked around... all around. I looked in the bathroom (a good 10-20 feet away), I looked toward the door (yes, the gate to the stairs was closed--thank goodness!) NO WESLEY!

Okay. My heart is now beating... quickly. I think I felt it drop, too. Calmly, or, at least, as calmly as I could, I started calling to him. [In retrospect... its not like he could respond... I don't know what I expected here...] Wesley? Wes? Wesley, where are you?? WES!!!!???

Finally, I found him. Under our bed! He was happy as can be exploring the bottom side of the boxspring--it sure must be interesting because he had no interest in rolling back out.

Simon Says...

Carson has learned a fantastic new game: Simon Says. Earlier in the week, Steve was playing it while sitting in a chair in the 'dining room.' The next night, Carson sat in Simon's chair and called to Daddy: Simon says stand-up! Simon says Sit-down!

While Steve was sitting, we all began talking about going out. Carson got out of Simon's chair to put on his shoes, and we were ready to go. Steve looked at Carson and said, "Can you help me up?" while reaching his hand out to Carson.

"Sure, Daddy," replied Carson as he ran back and climbed on to Simon's chair. "Simon says stand up!"

Who we are...

Actually, if you're reading this, you already know who we are. So I'm starting right in.

Today is Carson's 32-month-birthday. No... I'm not really counting, but I know that its 8 months past his birthday because Wes will be 8 months tomorrow. Its pretty simple to add 24 months plus 8.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Four Dogs Tavern in Marshallton tonight. We're so proud of our boys! Tonight was yet another night that our children were models of well-behaved and very happy little boys.

Milestones: Hooray!

He's clapping! And he's so darn proud!

Wesley has the cutest clap right now. His hands are about half open as he moves his left into the semi-still (because we know little Pron's can't be still!) right hand.

Yay!!

Welcome to the Pron Family blog--where the boys can be... and will be... boys!

I've been wanting to do it for months... finally! Our family blog! We'll post pictures and stories that are just too good for friends and families to miss. We'd love your comments--so click on the comment section below anytime you want to let us know what you really think.
