Wesley's 1.5 hours of school today

Today was Wes' first day of school, alone. (yesterday was the open house). He did well. He went right in and played with Harry, so I snuck out. C and I went to the library for about 10 minutes--big mistake, now he knows where the lollipops are hiding--then we came back to check on Wes. Marci was outside the door and reported he got teary, but then was distracted and fine. So we went up to her classroom for a little while, then checked on the boys a few more times, before leaving at 9:40. (Marci will teach 1st grade Sunday School).

We returned to school at 10:30 for pick-up and Rohna said he did really well. Broke down a few times but was easily distracted. And he loved singing and playing. LOVED singing. He keeps singing the school songs (which, of course, he already knew because Carson taught it all to him.)

Carson, on the other hand, cried a lot last night. It just isn't fair that Wes can stay at school and he can't. THAT'S NOT FAIR!
